Backyard Grillers: $50.00
Friday:
Site Set-up: 8am
Registration: 8am - 4:30pm
Meat Inspection: At check-in, meat will be inspected. No pre-cooking is allowed.
Chef’s Meeting: 5:00pm
All registered contestants must attend, for review of rules and regulations for the event.
Saturday:
Judging:11:00am - 2:30pm
The tour judging rules will be mailed to each competitor as entries are received.
Awards: 4:00pm
The Award Ceremonies will he held just after the Bassmaster Weekend Series Weigh in.

4th Stop on BBQ tour To Relocate
Athens, AL... American Bass Anglers announced today the 4th stop on the ABA BBQ Tour will be relocating from the Tensaw Delta in Mobile, AL, to Lake Seminole in Bainbridge, GA.
"Due to circumstances beyond ABA’s control, both the TTBWS Southern Regional Championship and the 4th stop on the ABA BBQ Tour had to be moved.. Early in the process we looked at several locations and chose the community of Bainbridge, Georgia for their location and of course Lake Seminole for its tremendous bass fishery ", said Morris Sheehan, President American Bass Anglers. ABA BBQ Team Member Named “Alabama Veteran of the Year”
Athens, AL… American Bass Anglers is proud to announce that one of its’ own team members has been named Alabama Veteran of the Year. Becky Burney, who serves as 12th District Commander of the American Legion, received the honor at the annual Legion State Convention in Montgomery, AL last week. Each year, the Department of Alabama American Legion selects a Veteran to represent the state as Veteran of the Year.

Teams score two ‘firsts’ in Pell City BBQ event
ATHENS, Ala. – Two teams scored impressive “firsts” during the American Bass Anglers BBQ Cook-Off, sponsored by Early Times Whisky, held June 19, 2010, at Lakeside Park Marina in Pell City, Ala.
While the bass anglers scoured adjacent Lake Logan Martin for lunkers, 43 grilling teams from across the nation put their best dishes to the test before more than 5,000 spectators. Barbecue teams compete in two divisions -- Pros and Backyarders – for cash prizes, based upon the total entries. During this event, 28 professional and 15 backyard teams competed. READ MORE |
