As American Bass Angler's National Marketing Director, Debra Talley leads the company's national marketing efforts and strategy across the US.

Her areas of focus include ongoing innovation in marketing planning and execution, site development for Regional and National tournaments, fishing tournament evolution and advertising through creative strategies.

Since joining American Bass Anglers in the summer of 2005, Debra has prioritized the use of angler-based insights and research to drive marketing strategy. Her accomplishments include the formation of the company's first couples' trail- the American Couples Series, the "Take A Soldier Fishing" events, and the activation of the company's Pro-Staff program as it pertains to sponsors. She has also driven marketing effectiveness through increased diversification of the demographics represented by the individual trails to improve return on marketing spend.

Prior to joining American Bass Anglers, Talley had over 20 years experience in marketing and producing national events, conventions and trade shows as the CEO of World Class Events. She administered multi-million dollar accounts for both corporate and military contracts and produced USO Shows for the Department of Defense traveling to military installations around the world.

A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Talley attended Samford University where she majored in Music Theory. She serves on the Miss Alabama / Miss America Board of Directors and was Alabama’s Woman of the Year, 2003. In the summer of 2008, she, along with her traveling entertainers, the Bama Girls, were honored by Congress for their work in entertaining troops throughout the US.
